Beach Fellowship Church Family Preparing for Coming Back
Preparing for Going Forward

We are almost ready to say to ALL
Welcome Back!!!

After much prayer and discussion, we are overjoyed that we are HEADING BACK TO GATHERING AS A CHURCH FAMILY AGAIN !!! .... SOON !!

This is our guidance plan to bring us back together as a community of faith:

Our upcoming Church schedule for Sunday services:

Sunday, May 17th, 2020
Online service offered via website & social medial channels at 10:00am

Sunday, May 24th, 2020
Online service offered via website & social media channels at 10:00am

Wednesday, May 20th thru May 31st  -  10 Days of Prayer

Jesus commissioned His disciples to remain in Jerusalem and pray for 10 days until they received power from the Father in the promise of the Holy Spirit.  Beach Fellowship will take this time and join the global Church of Jesus Christ in prayer up to the day of Pentecost.

Starting on May 20th for 10 days, we will pray (from our homes) for individual power of God to enable us to be his witnesses wherever we go.

Sunday, May 31st, 2020 – Pentecost Sunday
We will resume 9 & 11 a.m. services at church in THE SANCTUARY.
NOTE:  Seating will be limited so reservations will be necessary to guarantee seating and to arrange seating as needed.

Beach Kids and Kids on the Rock Schedule:  To Be Determined

We will communicate regularly throughout the next couple of weeks.  We are doing our best to make preparations to receive our families and guests as safely as possible and to use the best practices as recommended by the State of Virginia for Worship gatherings.

  • Sanctuary has been re-designed at 50% capacity with 2-4 seats together maintaining 6 feet of spatial distance between groups  (Larger seating needs will be accommodated as needed)
  • Greeters will open doors and offer hand sanitizer to each person entering the building
  • Signage will be posted throughout the building reminding everyone of safe and sanitary practices
  • We will strongly encourage everyone to wear a mask during services and especially during the singing portion of our services to mitigate the spread of germs in the air.
  • Specially marked boxes or containers will be used instead of passing offering plates
  • Ongoing cleaning before, between, and after services
  • Shorter service times considering some families might choose to keep their children in service with them
  • Individually wrapped personal communion cups w/ wafers for communion service

As Pastors, Leaders, and Staff, we have longed to say Welcome Back!  We are now very close to being together again.  By God’s eternal grace, we continue to be “more than conquerors through Him who loves us” Rom 8:27.

Pastor Ray
