Congregational CareBeach Fellowship believes that physical, spiritual, emotional, and financial care is best experienced in the context of relationship. Therefore, our desire is to walk with those who are facing difficult and challenging circumstances in their life. Below you will find the following avenues of care provided by Beach Fellowship.

Lay Counseling MinistryLay counseling is available for those are facing life’s issues and would like to meet one-on-one with someone who can help navigate this time of difficulty. Maybe you are in a difficult relationship, working through a loss, or struggling with a challenging area of your life. Our desire is that you would not have to walk this road alone and would allow a person or a couple to come alongside and assist you. Lay counselors are volunteer members of our Beach Fellowship Church family. They work with the Pastors and Elders of the church to help ensure you are receiving the best care possible. Everything remains confidential and there is no fee. Our lay counselors are not professional counselors, therapists, Pastors, or physicians and therefore are not authorized to give legal, medical, or financial advice. Please contact us at the Beach Fellowship Church Office: 757-721-7388
Recovery GroupsRecovery Groups provide the opportunity to pursue God’s restoration in the presence of others dealing with similar issues and under the facilitation of our lay counselors. Our Recovery Groups address topics that are particularly challenging and personal. These topics include things like drug/alcohol abuse, sexual addiction, abuse Recovery, trauma, and loss of a loved one.
A Christian Recovery Group includes some of the same dynamics a Twelve Step recovery group has and more. We are caring people who come together for one purpose, to help facilitate healing from painful seasons while living out a deeper fellowship with Jesus Christ.
