Sonshine Preschool uses a themed-based curriculum for Pre K 3s and 4s.
Pre K classes work on all required skills needed for kindergarten and encourage respectful behavior towards others.
The Curriculum provides for a lot of activity in the student’s day. Students work on writing, counting, letter recognition, pronunciation, space, and direction around them. They learn cooperation and self-management with many hands on activities and play as they learn the in depth themes every three weeks.
Sonshine Preschool is a religiously exempt school based on the Code of Virginia and we annually certify our exemption requirements with the state.
Our little school offers a Music class, Art Class and Chapel once a week. There are opportunities for extracurricular dance and soccer. We take field trips and have a lot of fun learning and growing together in community.
Our Staff
Sonshine’s team is educated and experienced, and all staff members are CPR/First Aid Certified and EMAT Certified.
Tuition
The registration fee is nonrefundable and secures enrollment. Tuition is due the first school day of each month.
